I wish someone had prepared me for the anti-child, anti-woman, anti-sex remarks, coarse and crude and prying, that others (Christians, Catholics, medical personnel, relatives, STRANGERS) would make.

I wish someone had prepared me for husband-wife disagreements or misunderstandings, even when both accept the Church’s teachings. My husband came to marriage a bit with the mindset that since he had abstained from sexual relations before marriage and since he and I would not use contraception, he “deserved” or was entitled to sexual relations as often as he wanted.
